January 2, 2022 - RV-10 Work |
||||||
We have been making good progress on the RV-10 this winter. We finished up the Baggage Area (33), Baggage Door (34), Access Covers and Floor Panels (35) and Brake Lines (36). Here Rich and guest worker Rachel are workingon the Rudder Pedals. |
||||||
We wanted to make sure the pilot-in-command Nhu-An could reach the rudder pedals so for the first time, one of the seats was put into place and Nhu-An sat in the fuselage. That's a serious RV grin she has.

I tried it out myself. It's starting to feel like an airplane.

Chuck had a hangar row breakfast in his hangar. This is the most cars I've ever seen on this taxiway at one time.
Hangar flying out on the taxiway.
This shot is from when we were working on the baggage door.
A better view of the fuselage interior. You can't see it because it is deep down in the central passageway, but we have started on the Fuel System (37). Notice the rudder pedal cables are in place.
Looking after after Rich did a little priming.

That's a big cockpit area compared to the RV-7.
Big smiles after completing the Rudder Pedals and Brake System (38).
